Backhaus Häussler GmbH & Co. KG has been a successful family enterprise for almost a century - four generations helped shape the company traditions. It all started in 1915 when Hermann Häußler and his family came to Osterberg and opened a small village bakery. In 2007, the first goods were baked at the new baking facility in Memmingen. Traditional craftsmanship is alive and well in this company. Each of the bread recipes has been developed with great attention to detail and is still being refined even further. None of the breads on offer is made with any of the industry's ready-made baking mixtures. Backhaus Häussler is a well-known and respected institution in the Memmingen area: among other things, they are involved with the European research project "Flour Plus" that studies the impact of raw materials and production parameters on product quality.
